How to save movies from TikTok without losing them in Favorites
TikTok is genuinely good at showing you films you would love: a sixty-second scene, no context, two million likes. Then you tap Add to Favorites, and that is where the story ends. Favorites is one long bucket where that film now lives between a pasta recipe and a cat.

TikTok’s Favorites has collections, but almost nobody sorts into them mid-scroll, and even sorted, a favorited video is still just a video. There is no title to search for later, no way to know the runtime, nothing that tells you where to watch it.
Movie clips on TikTok are also uniquely fragile. Scene edits get muted or removed for copyright, creators post "part 2 in bio" and vanish, and half the clips deliberately withhold the title to farm comments. The video is the worst possible container for the film.
