Terms of Service
Effective 31 August 2026
Who we are
UnMiss is developed by Salvatore Castellitti ("the developer"), an Italian sole proprietorship, VAT no. IT01945740700, tax code CSTSVT98L06B519M. By using the app you agree to these terms.
What UnMiss does
UnMiss lets you share links from social apps and keeps the films, series and books it identifies in them on a personal shelf. Identification is automated and best-effort: it can occasionally match the wrong title, and you can always correct it.
Licence
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under the App Store terms.
Acceptable use
Use the app for personal, lawful purposes. Do not attempt to abuse the identification service, circumvent fair-use limits, or reverse engineer the app beyond what the law expressly allows.
Subscriptions and billing
Optional paid features are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple account; subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds follow Apple's App Store refund process. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Third-party content and services
Posters, covers and metadata come from third-party sources such as TheTVDB and Google Books and belong to their respective owners. Links you save open in the app they came from; the developer has no control over that content.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law permits. The identification service depends on third parties and may be interrupted or imperfect.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
The app and these terms may change. Material changes to the terms will be published here with an updated date; continued use after a change means you accept it.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you may bring disputes before the courts of your place of residence; otherwise the courts of Campobasso, Italy have exclusive jurisdiction.
